Introduction
My name is Starr Keilman-Martinez, and I am the 7th grade math and science teacher here at PFC Omar E. Torres Charter School. After graduating from U.C.L.A., I began my teaching career in California where I taught 4th grade and 7th and 8th grade Language Arts. Upon receiving my Master’s Degree from Lewis University, I joined the Acero team at the Octavio Paz campus. I taught middle school there for five years before transferring here last year. I love teaching MATH and am especially fond of the topics we cover this year in 7th grade!
In my free time I enjoy hiking, traveling with my family, and cheering on the Dodgers…GO BLUE!

Introducción
Mi nombre es Starr Keilman-Martinez, y soy el maestro de matemáticas y ciencias de séptimo grado aquí en PFC Omar E. Torres Charter School. Después de graduarme de U.C.L.A., comencé mi carrera docente en California, donde enseñé artes del lenguaje en cuarto grado y en séptimo y octavo grado. Al recibir mi Maestría en la Universidad de Lewis, me uní al equipo de Acero en el campus Octavio Paz. Enseñé en la escuela secundaria allí durante cinco años antes de transferirme aquí el año pasado. ¡Me encanta enseñar MATEMÁTICAS y me gustan especialmente los temas que cubrimos este año en 7º grado!
En mi tiempo libre, disfruto hacer caminatas, viajar con mi familia y animar a los Dodgers... ¡PÓNGASE AZUL!
