Meet Mrs.Pratl

Hello! My name is Kathy Young-Pratl and this is my eleventh year teaching at Acero Schools, seventh in the special education department and the other four as 6/7th grade math teacher. This school year I work with middle school students, fifth through eighth grade. I received my Bachelor of Arts from Saint Xavier University in Business Administration/Accounting and Master's degree in Education and Teaching. Additionally I earned my LBS1 from Saint Francis University and hold endorsements in middle school math, language arts, social studies, and ESL. I am a proud mother of three sons and enjoy working in special education and helping students succeed!

¡Hola! Mi nombre es Kathy Young-Pratl y este es mi undécimo año enseñando en Escuelas Acero, el séptimo en el departamento de educación especial y los otros cuatro como maestra de matemáticas de 6°/7° grado. Este año escolar trabajo con estudiantes de secundaria, de quinto a octavo grado. Recibí mi Licenciatura en Artes de la Universidad de Saint Xavier en Administración de Empresas/Contabilidad y una Maestría en Educación y Enseñanza. Además, obtuve mi LBS1 de la Universidad de Saint Francis y tengo patrocinios en matemáticas, artes del lenguaje, estudios sociales y ESL en la escuela intermedia. ¡Soy una orgullosa madre de tres hijos y disfruto trabajar en educación especial y ayudar a los estudiantes a tener éxito!
