Meet Ms. Chlebek!
Hello! My name is Michelle Chlebek and I am a proud Kindergarten Teacher at Torres. I was born and raised in Oak Lawn, Illinois and graduated from Governors State University with my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching within the Acero family for 4 years and 3 of those years have been with Torres teaching Kindergarten. I also enjoy coaching the middle school cheerleaders!
I love working alongside Mrs. Morales to teach the little kiddos how to navigate their first year of school with Acero! We work on many different things together such as: letter names, letter sounds, rhyming, segmenting, writing sentences, learning our numbers 0-100, skip counting by 5s and 10s, 2D shapes, 3D shapes and so much more!
The best part of Kindergarten is seeing the kids grow so much from the beginning of the year in August to the end of the year in June. They truly amaze everyone with their abilities. Can't wait to meet the new groups every year!
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Michelle Chlebek y soy una orgullosa maestra de jardín de infantes en Torres. Nací y crecí en Oak Lawn, Illinois y me gradué de la Universidad Estatal de Gobernadores con mi Licenciatura en Educación Infantil. He estado enseñando dentro de la familia Acero durante 4 años y 3 de esos años los he estado con Torres enseñando jardín de infantes. ¡También disfruto entrenar a las porristas de la escuela secundaria!
¡Me encanta trabajar junto a la Sra. Morales para enseñar a los niños pequeños cómo navegar su primer año de escuela con Acero! Trabajamos juntos en muchas cosas diferentes, como: nombres de letras, sonidos de letras, rimas, segmentación, escritura de oraciones, aprendizaje de nuestros números del 0 al 100, conteo salteado de 5 a 10, formas en 2D, formas en 3D ¡y mucho más!
La mejor parte del jardín de infantes es ver a los niños crecer tanto desde el comienzo del año en agosto hasta el final del año en junio. Realmente sorprenden a todos con sus habilidades. ¡No puedo esperar para conocer a los nuevos grupos cada año!
